# Integrations with other Yandex Cloud services

Yandex BareMetal supports integrations with other Yandex Cloud services for backup, monitoring, auditing, access management, image uploads, hybrid network connectivity, running application scripts on physical servers, and delivery of large amounts of static content to external users.

## Yandex Cloud CDN {#cdn}

[Yandex Cloud CDN](../../cdn/index.md) can deliver content from an origin hosted on a BareMetal server. Alternatively, you can configure an L7 load balancer as your CDN origin to route traffic to an application hosted on BareMetal servers.

This architecture accelerates static content delivery to end users and minimizes origin server load via CDN server-side caching.

## Yandex Cloud Stackland {#stackland}

[Yandex Cloud Stackland](../../stackland/index.md) supports BareMetal as a deployment environment. You can install a Stackland cluster on BareMetal servers connected to the same private network.

This architecture enables the deployment of a containerization platform with integrated PaaS services on dedicated physical servers.

## Yandex Cloud Backup {#backup}

[Yandex Cloud Backup](../../backup/index.md) allows you to assign BareMetal servers to backup policies, create backups, and restore servers from backups.

This integration safeguards your data and ensures server recovery following crashes, configuration errors, or data corruption.

## Yandex Cloud Interconnect {#interconnect}

[Yandex Cloud Interconnect](../../interconnect/index.md) establishes private connections between BareMetal VRFs and cloud networks. BareMetal servers can use these connections to exchange traffic with resources connected to Virtual Private Cloud subnets and on-prem infrastructure via private addresses.

This integration enables building hybrid L3 networks and connecting physical hardware directly to cloud services without using a public network.

## Yandex Cloud Router {#cloud-router}

[Yandex Cloud Router](../../cloud-router/index.md) provisions routing instances involved in traffic routing between a Cloud Interconnect private connection, Virtual Private Cloud networks, and BareMetal VRFs.

Yandex Cloud Router enables management of hybrid network topologies and traffic routing between physical servers, cloud networks, and on-prem infrastructure.

## Yandex Virtual Private Cloud {#vpc}

[Yandex Virtual Private Cloud](../../vpc/index.md) provides cloud networks and subnets you can connect to a BareMetal private network via Cloud Interconnect and Cloud Router.

This approach ensures BareMetal server access to cloud resources via private addresses and enables connecting cloud load balancers, clusters, and databases to applications on physical servers.

## Yandex Managed Service for Kubernetes {#managed-kubernetes}

[Yandex Managed Service for Kubernetes](../../managed-kubernetes/index.md) allows you to connect a BareMetal server to a Managed Service for Kubernetes cluster as an external node. Network connectivity between the BareMetal VRF and the cluster virtual network is established through Cloud Interconnect.

This integration supports running containerized workloads on physical servers for applications that require dedicated hardware resources or specialized network settings.

## Yandex Application Load Balancer {#application-load-balancer}

[Yandex Application Load Balancer](../../application-load-balancer/index.md) can distribute HTTP(S) traffic to a web application deployed on BareMetal servers. Connections to servers are routed via Cloud Interconnect and Virtual Private Cloud.

This integration enables you to expose web applications running on physical servers to the public internet, balance load, and check backend availability.

## Yandex Smart Web Security {#smart-web-security}

[Yandex Smart Web Security](../../smartwebsecurity/index.md) enables you to connect a security profile to an L7 load balancer that routes traffic to a web application deployed on BareMetal servers.

The security profile ensures the protection of incoming HTTP(S) traffic from bots, DDoS, and web attacks.

## Yandex Cloud DNS {#cloud-dns}

[Yandex Cloud DNS](../../dns/index.md) is used to configure a DNS forwarder in a Virtual Private Cloud subnet. The DNS forwarder receives requests originating from the BareMetal private segment and routes them to Virtual Private Cloud DNS resolvers.

This forwarder is required to resolve FQDNs of cloud services from a BareMetal private network.

## Yandex Managed Service for PostgreSQL {#managed-postgresql}

[Yandex Managed Service for PostgreSQL](../../managed-postgresql/index.md) may be accessible from a BareMetal private network via its FQDN once network connectivity with Virtual Private Cloud and a DNS forwarder is established.

This enables you to connect applications on physical servers to a managed database without using cluster host IP addresses that may change.

## Yandex Object Storage {#object-storage}

[Yandex Object Storage](../../storage/index.md) stores custom ISO images. First, an image file is uploaded to an Object Storage bucket, and then the object’s link is used to create an image in BareMetal.

This enables you to install on servers your own operating systems and software products that are not provisioned in stock images.

## Marketplace {#marketplace}

[Marketplace](../../marketplace/index.md) provides pre-configured OS images available when renting a server or reinstalling an OS.

This enables you to deploy a server with a supported OS faster without the need to manually provision a custom ISO image.

## Yandex Monitoring {#monitoring}

BareMetal metrics are delivered to [Yandex Monitoring](../../monitoring/index.md).

Use these metrics to monitor the state of BareMetal resources and establish infrastructure observability across physical servers.

## Yandex Audit Trails {#audit-trails}

[Yandex Audit Trails](../../audit-trails/index.md) receives management and data events for BareMetal resources.

You can use these audit events to analyze actions on resources, investigate incidents, monitor changes and network events.

## Yandex Identity and Access Management {#iam}

Access to BareMetal resources is managed via [Yandex Identity and Access Management](../../iam/index.md) roles, which are assigned to users, service accounts, groups, and system subjects.

These roles allow you to differentiate permissions to view, administer, and operate BareMetal resources.
