# Deleting a billing account and terminating an agreement with Yandex Cloud

To stop using the platform, terminate the agreement, and delete your billing account:



1. Navigate to [**Yandex Cloud Billing**](https://center.yandex.cloud/billing/accounts).
1. Select the billing account from the list.

    If you have lost access to your account, contact [support](https://center.yandex.cloud/support).

1. On the ![image](../../_assets/console-icons/flag.svg) **Account** page, in the top-right corner, click **More** and select ![image](../../_assets/console-icons/trash-bin.svg) **Delete**.
1. Confirm and wait until the check is completed.
1. If the account can be deleted, the deletion notification will pop up. At this point, you can still abort the operation by clicking **Cancel**.
1. If the account cannot be deleted, click **Detailed** to see the reason.
   The list of reasons includes, but is not limited to, the following:
     * The following objects are still linked to the account:
       * [Resources](../../resource-manager/concepts/resources-hierarchy.md#rm-resources)
       * [Clouds](../../resource-manager/concepts/resources-hierarchy.md#cloud)
       * Yandex Identity Hub [organizations](../../organization/concepts/organization.md)
       * Yandex DataSphere [communities](../../datasphere/concepts/community.md) 
       * Yandex SpeechSense [spaces](https://aistudio.yandex.ru/docs/en/speechsense/concepts/resources-hierarchy#space)
       * [Yandex DataLens](../../datalens/index.md) instances
       * [Yandex Cloud Video](../../video/index.md) spaces 
     * You still have resources purchased under the [CVoS](../concepts/cvos.md).
     * You have not disabled the paid [Technical support](../../support/overview.md) service plan.
     * Your billing account has a [partner](../../partner/terms.md#referral-partner) status or you are a [partner's customer](../../partner/terms.md#sub-account).
     * [Payment settlements for the provided services are still pending](../concepts/act.md).
 
   If you cannot fix the issue preventing the deletion of your account yourself, [contact](https://center.yandex.cloud/support/tickets/create) our technical support. Please note that only a user can delete resources.

1. As soon as all the conditions are met, you billing account becomes inactive and can no longer be used to work with Yandex Cloud resources. To delete your inactive account, write us at [cloud@support.yandex.ru](mailto:cloud@support.yandex.ru).

   Once the billing account is blocked, you cannot cancel the deletion of clouds linked to it.

To recover money you are not going to spend on Yandex Cloud services, [contact](https://center.yandex.cloud/support) Support Center or send an email to [cloud@support.yandex.ru](mailto:cloud@support.yandex.ru).

After you delete your billing account, you cannot recover it, and your agreement with Yandex.Cloud LLC, Cloud Services Kazakhstan LLP, Iron Hive doo Beograd (Serbia), or Direct Cursus Technology LLC. (Dubai) will be terminated.

Please note that this operation cannot be undone.
