## Questions about payment {#payment}

# Questions about payment

#### Where can I see the prices? {#pricing}

You can see Yandex Cloud prices on the [pricing policy](../pricing.md) pages of individual services.

To calculate the cost of your cloud resource configuration, use [our calculator](https://yandex.cloud/en/prices#calculator).

#### Who can pay for resources? {#how-to-buy}

You pay for resources by crediting money to your individual [personal account](../concepts/personal-account.md) as per the [agreement](../concepts/contract.md). Money can be credited to a personal account by individual entrepreneurs, businesses, and individuals.

For more information, see [Payment for resources](../payment/index.md).

#### What payment methods can I use? {#payments}

The method for crediting funds depends on your legal status ([billing account type](../concepts/billing-account.md#ba-types)):

{% list tabs group=customers %}

- Individuals {#individuals}

  - [Credit or debit card transfers](../operations/pay-the-bill.md#individuals)

  - [SBP (Faster Payment System) transfers](../operations/pay-the-bill.md#individuals)

- Businesses and individual entrepreneurs {#businesses}

  - [Bank transfer from your account](../operations/pay-the-bill.md#transfer)

  - [Credit or debit card transfers](../operations/pay-the-bill.md#card)

  - [SBP (Faster Payment System) transfers](../operations/pay-the-bill.md#sbp)

{% endlist %}

#### How do I change my payment method? {#payment-method}

You can only [change](../operations/change-payment-method.md) your payment method if your billing account type is **Business account**; in this case, along with bank card transfer, you can use [bank account transfer](../payment/payment-methods-business.md).

If your billing account type is **Individual account**, you cannot change your payment method.

#### What cards are accepted for payment? {#card-types}
We accept Mir, Visa, and MasterCard.

* Residents of Russia make payments in RUB and can only use bank cards issued by Russian banks. Customers with tax residency in the Republic of Belarus pay for Yandex Cloud services in RUB with their Belcard cards issued in the Republic of Belarus or Mir cards issued in the Russian Federation.
* Residents of Kazakhstan make payments in KZT and can only use bank cards issued by non-Russian banks.
* Non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan make payments in USD and can only use credit or debit cards issued by non-Russian banks.

#### Is there a minimum payment amount? {#minimum}
Depending on the currency, the minimum payment amount is:

* ₽10
* ₸60
* $1

If you did not link a card when creating a billing account, you must deposit a minimum initial amount (300 RUB or 1,500 KZT) to your [personal account](../concepts/personal-account.md) to start using paid cloud resources.

#### How can I change my payment details? {#change-requisites}

Only the owner of the billing account can change the details. If you are the owner, follow the instructions in [Changing your billing account data](../operations/change-data.md).

#### In which currency can I pay for Yandex Cloud? {#currency}

{% list tabs group=residents %}

{% endlist %}

#### I linked a card to my business billing account. When will money be debited from it? {#unlink-card}

If this is your trial period, funds will not be debited from the bank card you linked.
Since you do not automatically upgrade to the paid version at the end of the trial period, funds are only debited after activating the paid version and using Yandex Cloud services.

If you upgraded to the paid version and used Yandex Cloud services, do the following to stop incurring charges:

1. Settle your arrears (if any).
1. Delete all billable service resources.
1. Contact [technical support](https://center.yandex.cloud/support) to deactivate your account.

#### I linked a cloud to a new billing account. How do I pay for services now? {#unlink-cloud}

If the [cloud was previously linked](../operations/pin-cloud.md) to another billing account, check the service usage period. For services provided before the move, pay from the previous billing account. For services provided after, pay from the current billing account. The payment method must match the [billing account type](../concepts/billing-account.md#ba-types).

#### How is resource consumption charged? {#tariffs}

Yandex Cloud resources are consumed on an as-needed basis. The amount for resources consumed is calculated individually for each service.

Learn more in [Pricing](../pricing.md).

#### If I pay an invoice by wire transfer after the end of the reporting period, will my resources be blocked? {#payment-delay}

You can pay within 14 calendar days (not counting public holidays) after the reporting period ends. Depending on which company you contracted with, you can find detailed information in the _Legal Documents_ section for [Iron Hive doo Beograd (Serbia)](https://yandex.com/legal/cloud_customer_agreement/) or [Direct Cursus Technology L.L.C. (Dubai)](https://yandex.com/legal/cloud_customer_agreement_uae/).
 If you pay within this time period, your resources will not be blocked. Remember that it takes up to three business days for your payment to get through, so do not postpone it.

#### What goes into the cost of using Yandex Cloud Marketplace? {#marketplace}

The cost of using Yandex Cloud Marketplace is the total cost of using Yandex Cloud Marketplace products. For in-depth review of the items adding up the usage cost, see the [details](../operations/check-charges.md) in Yandex Cloud Billing with grouping by product selected.

#### Can I withdraw money from my account? {#refund}

To recover money you are not going to spend on Yandex Cloud services, [contact](https://center.yandex.cloud/support) Support Center or send an email to [cloud@support.yandex.ru](mailto:cloud@support.yandex.ru).

## Questions about the billing account {#billing-account}

# Questions about the billing account

#### How do I get the billing account ID? {#account-id}

To get a billing account's ID:

{% list tabs group=instructions %}

- Yandex Cloud Billing interface {#billing}

  1. Go to [**Yandex Cloud Billing**](https://center.yandex.cloud/billing/accounts).
  1. Select the account whose ID you want to find out.
  1. Billing account ID is displayed on your account page under **Account information** → **General information**.

  <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://runtime.strm.yandex.ru/player/video/vplvpeom5teey7sstbcz?autoplay=0&mute=0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen; accelerometer; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; encrypted-media" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

{% endlist %}

#### How many billing accounts can I create? {#account-amount}

One client can create multiple billing accounts.

Within a single user account, all payers must pay in the same currency.

> Let's assume you created a billing account of the **Business account** type for Russia. The payer of this account is a legal entity and a resident of Russia. All the subsequent billing accounts must also be created for Russia and for payers who are residents of Russia (legal entities or individuals). Selecting another country will lead to an error.

#### I have created a personal billing account. Can I change it into a business account? {#account-type}

You cannot change your billing account [type](../concepts/billing-account.md#ba-types) once it is created, but you can [create a new account](../operations/create-new-account.md) of the type you need.

#### I have created a new business billing account, but it is suspended. Why? {#blocked-account}

Most likely, you had previously created a business billing account for which a trial period was activated. Your billing account gets the initial grant as part of the trial period. As the initial grant can only be issued to one billing account, you cannot use the trial period after you register a new account. As a result, your new billing account gets `SUSPENDED`.
To reactivate your new billing account, [upgrade to the paid version](../operations/activate-commercial.md) and [top up your personal account](../operations/pay-the-bill.md) to the minimum amount. You can check the minimum amount in the **Top up account** window.

#### How do I reactivate a billing account suspended due to suspicious activity? {#verification-payment}

If your billing account was suspended due to suspicious activity, you need to make a verification payment. [Top up your personal account](../operations/pay-the-bill.md) to the minimum amount required for your Yandex Cloud billing currency.

Once your [initial grant](../concepts/bonus-account.md#start) expires, you can use these funds to continue using your cloud resources. After you reactivate your account, [your personal account funds](../payment/index.md) will not be used for payment until the initial grant is fully spent or expires.

To request a full or partial refund of any positive balance in your account, contact [support](https://center.yandex.cloud/support) and specify the refund amount.

#### I received no email with instructions on what to do after creating a billing account. Why? {#account-notification}

If you select the **Bank transfer** payment method or if the payer is a non-resident of Russia and Kazakhstan, further instructions will be emailed to you at the address specified in your Yandex or Yandex 360 account. You can also get that email after you select **Bank card** for payment method if your new billing account requires verification. Once your documents and credentials are verified, you can activate your billing account and start using Yandex Cloud.
If you still get no email, inquire at [cloud_docs@support.yandex.ru](mailto:cloud_docs@support.yandex.ru).

Your request should contain:

{% list tabs group=customers %}

- Businesses {#businesses}

  * Full company name
  * Copy of the minutes or resolution on the appointment of the general director
  * [Billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md) ID

- Individual entrepreneurs {#entrepreneurs}

  * Scanned copy of the individual entrepreneur register record sheet or a scanned copy of your registration with the tax office as an individual entrepreneur
  * [Billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md) ID

{% endlist %}

#### Why do I get an error saying _The country is not available to the payer_ when creating a billing account? {#account-error}

Most likely you have logged in under a Yandex account already linked to a payer with a different residence status.

Within a single user account, all payers must pay in the same currency.

To create a billing account with a payer being a resident of a different country, log in using a different Yandex ID or under a different Yandex 360 account.

#### I cannot link a bank card when creating a billing account. What should I do? {#cant-create}

Most likely, our service does not support your bank card's payment system.

To resolve the issue, try linking a different bank card or, if you are a legal entity, create a billing account of the **Business account** type with the **Bank transfer** payment method.

#### What happens if I do not link a bank card when creating a billing account? {#no-linked-card}

If you did not link a card when creating a billing account, you must deposit a minimum initial amount (300 RUB or 1,500 KZT) to your [personal account](../concepts/personal-account.md) to start using paid cloud resources.

{% note warning %}

If you have not linked a bank card when creating your account, you will not be eligible for the [initial grant](../concepts/bonus-account.md), even if you link a card later.

{% endnote %}

#### How many clouds can I link to my billing account? {#clouds-amount}

You can link one or more clouds to your [billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md). Both new and existing clouds can be linked. You cannot unlink a cloud from a billing account. Instead, you can relink it to a different billing account.

If a billing account is added to an [organization](../concepts/organization.md), you can link clouds from your own organization and those from other organizations you have been [granted access](../../resource-manager/security/index.md) to in Yandex Cloud Billing.

Each cloud in Yandex Cloud must be linked to a single billing account. If you relink an existing cloud, you are effectively transferring it between billing accounts. For legal entities, you cannot relink a cloud and your [DataSphere](../../datasphere/index.md), [Tracker](https://yandex.com/support/tracker/en), and [DataLens](../../datalens/index.md) services from a paid account to a trial period account.

![image](../../_assets/billing/clouds-and-accounts.svg)

#### How do I change the billing account linked to a cloud? {#cloud-transfer}

To change the billing account of a cloud, you simply need to [link](../operations/pin-cloud.md) it to a different account. This automatically unlinks the cloud from its current account. To avoid running into arrears, top up your [personal account](../concepts/personal-account.md) in the billing account the cloud was linked to.

#### Why cannot I link a cloud to my billing account? {#cannot-pin-cloud}

If your billing account is added to an organization, you can only link to it the resources that are in the same organization. You may not have [permissions to work](../operations/pin-cloud.md#bind-roles) with this cloud or billing account. Ask your [organization](../concepts/organization.md) administrator to [grant you the roles you need](../security/index.md#set-role).
Roles can be issued either directly to the billing account and cloud, or to the organization they reside in.

#### I deleted a cloud accidentally. Why cannot I restore it? {#cloud-delete-cancel}

You cannot cancel the deletion of a cloud linked to a billing account with the `SUSPENDED` status.

For more information, see [Canceling cloud deletion](../../resource-manager/operations/cloud/delete-cancel.md).

#### How do I enable a billing threshold? {#credit}

The [billing threshold](../concepts/billing-threshold.md) gets enabled automatically after you [upgrade to the paid version](../operations/activate-commercial.md) and the first reporting period ends.

#### How do I change my payment method? {#payment-method}

You can only [change](../operations/change-payment-method.md) your payment method if your billing account type is **Business account**; in this case, along with bank card transfer, you can use [bank account transfer](../payment/payment-methods-business.md).

If your billing account type is **Individual account**, you cannot change your payment method.

#### How can I change my payment details or the delivery address? {#change-email}

Only the owner of the billing account can change the details. If you are the owner, follow the instructions in [Changing your billing account data](../operations/change-data.md).

#### How do I change the billing account owner? {#account-owner}

Any user with the `billing.accounts.owner` role can revoke this role from the billing account creator and change the owner. To learn more, see [Access management](../security/index.md).

#### Where can add a bank account? {#checking-account}

To specify a bank account for your billing account:

{% list tabs group=instructions %}

- Yandex Cloud Billing interface {#billing}

   1. Go to [**Yandex Cloud Billing**](https://center.yandex.cloud/billing/accounts).
   1. Select a billing account.
   1. Go to the ![image](../../_assets/console-icons/flag.svg) **Account** page.
   1. Click **Edit data in Yandex Balance**.
      This will redirect you to [Yandex Balance](https://balance.yandex.ru/).
   1. Select a payer and click **Edit**.
   1. Under **Payment details**, fill out the **Billing account** field.

{% endlist %}

#### How do I find out if my account is managed via a Yandex Cloud organization? {#check-ba-org}

{% list tabs group=instructions %}

- Yandex Cloud Billing interface {#billing}

  1. Go to [**Yandex Cloud Billing**](https://center.yandex.cloud/billing/accounts).
  1. Accounts [added to an organization](../concepts/organization.md) will have its ID in the **Organization** column.
  1. Select a billing account.
  1. In the **General information** section of the ![image](../../_assets/console-icons/flag.svg) **Account** page, you will see a link to the organization. On this page, you can also [change your billing account organization](../operations/change-organization.md).

{% endlist %}

#### Can I pay for the service resources of another Yandex Cloud organization? {#pay-org}

Yes, you can.

One billing account can only be added to a single organization, but you can use it to pay for other organizations' resources.

For more information, see [Managing a billing account in an organization](../concepts/organization.md).

#### How do I stop using the platform and delete my billing account? {#delete-account}

Delete all [clouds](../../resource-manager/concepts/resources-hierarchy.md#cloud), [folders](../../resource-manager/concepts/resources-hierarchy.md#folder), and resources within them, pay the outstanding balance, and select **Delete** on the billing account page in [**Yandex Cloud Billing**](https://center.yandex.cloud/billing/accounts). For more information, see [Deleting a billing account and terminating an agreement with Yandex Cloud](../operations/delete-account.md).

## Questions about the trial period and paid version {#trial-commercial}

# Questions about the trial period and paid version

#### Is there a trial period for Yandex Cloud? {#trial}

Yes. For more information, see [Trial period](../../getting-started/free-trial/concepts/quickstart.md).

#### Who can use the trial period? {#who-can-use-trial}

All new Yandex Cloud customers who are legal entities.

#### Can I upgrade to the paid version if the trial period has not expired yet? {#activate-commercial}

Yes, you can. For more information, see [Activate the paid version](../operations/activate-commercial.md).

#### What will happen to my resources if I do not upgrade from the trial to the paid version? {#commercial}

All your resources will be blocked. For more information, see [Trial period](../../getting-started/free-trial/concepts/quickstart.md).

#### Is there a free non-commercial version? {#commercial-nonpaid}

No. However, you can use the trial period if you have a business account in Yandex Cloud.

For the trial period, your [billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md) is credited for the amount of the [initial grant](../concepts/bonus-account.md). You can use it to pay for resources of any Yandex Cloud services.

For more information about the terms of use and restrictions, see [Trial period](../../getting-started/free-trial/concepts/quickstart.md).

#### I upgraded to the paid version. Can I go back to the trial period? {#return-trial-period}

No.

If you don't spend the full amount of the [initial grant](../concepts/bonus-account.md) or one of its [parts](../../getting-started/usage-grant.md) before upgrading to the paid version, you can use the remaining amount depending on when the grant expires:

- The grant **expires before** you upgrade to the paid version.

  The remaining amount expires and you can't use it to pay for Yandex Cloud services after upgrading to the paid version.

- The grant **expires after** you upgrade to the paid version.

  You can use the remaining amount to pay for services, but only until the grant expires: as soon as that happens, the remaining amount expires, too.

For more information, see [Billing cycle for businesses and individual entrepreneurs](../payment/billing-cycle-business.md).

## Questions about regular export of details {#export}

# Questions about regular export of details

#### What is the earliest past period I can export data for? {#earliest-period}
You can export data starting from the date if creating your [billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md).

#### What will happen if I specify a date for which there is no data when creating an export for past periods? {#no-data-period}
The system will export data starting from the date of creating your [billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md). No error will occur.

#### Do the CSV files for past periods get updated after their initial export? {#csv-files-update}
Files for past periods get updated if there are changes in consumption data for a previously exported period.

#### What specific bucket encryption types are supported for regular export? {#encryption-types}
Regular export supports Yandex Object Storage buckets with [Yandex Key Management Service](../../kms/index.md) encryption keys.

For more information, refer to [Encryption in Object Storage](../../storage/concepts/encryption.md) in the Yandex Object Storage guide.

#### How can I verify that an export to an encrypted bucket was successful? {#check-encrypted-bucket}
Go to the Yandex Object Storage bucket you specified when setting up a [regular export](../operations/get-folder-report.md#regular-download). Make sure the CSV files are there. The files will appear within 5-10 minutes after you create a regular export. Exports covering long periods (more than a year) may take more time.

#### Can I reconfigure a regular export after I create it? {#change-parameters}
No. To change its settings (language, type of detail, bucket), [stop](../operations/get-folder-report.md#stop-export) the existing regular export and [set up a new one](../operations/get-folder-report.md#set-up-regular-download).

#### Can I upload additional data for past periods within a previously created export?
Yes. You can [upload](../operations/get-folder-report.md#additional-export) additional data into a previously created regular export. The data will become available after the next update of the regular export.

#### Can I create an export for past periods using an encrypted bucket? {#past-period-encrypted}
Yes. You can create an export for past periods using an encrypted bucket.

#### What happens if export to a bucket fails? {#export-failed}
The regular export's status will change to `Failed`. The billing account owner will get an email.

## Questions about working with non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan {#non-resident}

# Questions about working with non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan

#### Can I become a Yandex Cloud customer if I am a non-resident of Russia and Kazakhstan? {#non-resident}

Yes, you can.

{% note info %}

Currently, Yandex Cloud does not support user sign-ups from certain countries due to technical reasons.

{% endnote %}

#### Will you provide an agreement for the provision and payment of services? {#contract}

In Yandex Cloud, all services are subject to an agreement. You enter this agreement by accepting the offer when creating your [billing account](../concepts/billing-account.md) or by direct bilateral signing.

For more information, see [Agreement](../concepts/contract.md).

#### What payment methods can I use? {#payment-types}

Non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan can top up their accounts and pay for resources with a [bank card](../payment/payment-methods-individual.md) or [wire transfer](../payment/payment-methods-business.md).

#### In what currency can non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan pay for Yandex Cloud services? {#currency}

Non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan can pay for Yandex Cloud services only in US dollars ($), whatever their country of residence.

#### What documents do I get after I pay for the services? {#documents}

Yandex Cloud issues a [payment invoice](../concepts/bill.md) for non-resident businesses of Russia and Kazakhstan. A copy of the payment invoice will be sent to the email address of the billing account owner at the beginning of the next reporting period.

#### What is the procedure for taxes when paying for services? {#taxes}

Taxes and fees of the country of registration of a non-resident legal entity of Russia and Kazakhstan are not added to cost of services on the [usage details](../operations/check-charges.md) page or payment invoice total.

Non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan must pay all the taxes and fees themselves under the laws of their country of residence.

#### Why was my billing account created with the PAYMENT_NOT_CONFIRMED status? {#pending-status}

To activate a billing account, non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan need to have it approved by Yandex Cloud representatives.

Clicking **Create** on the **Create a billing account** page will create a billing account with the `PAYMENT_NOT_CONFIRMED` status. Further instructions will be emailed to you at the address specified in your Yandex or Yandex 360 account. It may take up to three business days to activate your account.

#### I received no email with instructions on what to do after creating a billing account. Why? {#account-notification}

For your billing account to be activated, you must have your documents and data checked. Following that, your billing account can be activated and you can start using Yandex Cloud.
If you still get no email, inquire at [cloud_docs@support.yandex.ru](mailto:cloud_docs@support.yandex.ru).

In the request, specify the full organization name and the [billing account ID](../concepts/billing-account.md#billing-account-id), and attach a copy of the certificate of incorporation (translated into English or Russian).
