# Yandex Data Processing pricing policy

* Prices in Russian roubles are applicable to customers of Yandex.Cloud LLC.

All prices in RUB and KZT are inclusive of VAT; in USD, net of VAT.

## What goes into the cost of using Yandex Data Processing {#rules}

The total cost of using Yandex Data Processing includes:

* The cost of deploying hosts using Yandex Compute Cloud VM computing resources.
* Markup on computing resources for using the Yandex Data Processing service.
* The cost of using the Compute Cloud network drives.
* The cost of using Yandex Cloud Logging to collect and store logs.
* Outgoing traffic volume.

In all calculations: 1 GB = 2<sup>30</sup> bytes, 1 MB = 2<sup>20</sup> bytes.

### Using computing resources {#rules-compute}

The cost is calculated for each hour of the virtual machine’s operation within Compute Cloud according to the [Yandex Compute Cloud resource pricing](../compute/pricing.md#prices), with an additional markup for using Yandex Data Processing.

### Disk space usage {#rules-storage}

The storage capacity allocated to each host in the cluster is billed as part of Compute Cloud according to the [disk space pricing](../compute/pricing.md#prices-storage).

### Using Yandex Cloud Logging {#rules-logs}

Log collection and storage are billed according to the [Yandex Cloud Logging pricing policy](../logging/pricing.md).

### Example cost calculation for standard hosts {#price-example}

Hourly cost for a cluster consisting of two subclusters with the following specifications:

* First subcluster:
  * **Master host**: `m2.micro` class, Intel Cascade Lake, 2 × 100% vCPU, 16 GB RAM.
  * **Master host storage**: 20 GB `network-ssd`.

* Second subcluster:
  * **Data storage host**: `s2.micro` class, Intel Cascade Lake, 2 × 100% vCPU, 8 GB RAM.
  * **Host storage**: 100 GB `network-hdd`.

The cost is calculated as follows:

- Standard hosts

  Cost per hour of using a cluster with two subclusters and the following specifications:

  * First subcluster:
    * **Master host**: `m2.micro` class, Intel Cascade Lake, 2 × 100% vCPU, 16 GB RAM.
    * **Master host storage**: 20 GB `network-ssd`.

  * Second subcluster:
    * **Data storage host**: `s2.micro` class, Intel Cascade Lake, 2 × 100% vCPU, 8 GB RAM.
    * **Host storage**: 100 GB `network-hdd`.

  The cost is calculated as follows:

  * 20: Master host storage capacity (in GB).

### Outgoing traffic {#prices-traffic}

When using the service, you pay for traffic from Yandex Cloud to the internet. Traffic between internal IP addresses of Yandex Cloud services and incoming internet traffic is free.

The first 100 GB of outgoing traffic per month are free of charge.

The minimum billing unit is 1 MB.
