# [Yandex DataLens] Access denied

`ERR.DS_API.US.ACCESS_DENIED`

The error indicates that the user has no permissions to access the object. For example, if having no `View` permission for the dataset or attempting to create a connection in a folder they have no access to.

To fix this error, request the relevant permissions from the object administrator. For more information about access permissions, see [Managing access to Yandex DataLens](../../security/index.md).
