# Managing community labels

You can add and delete community [labels](../../../resource-manager/concepts/labels.md#services). If a project does not have its own labels, it inherits them from the community.

Labels can be used to provide [usage details](billing-details.md) for a specific community.

## Adding a label {#add-label}

1. Open the DataSphere [home page](https://datasphere.yandex.cloud). In the left-hand panel, select ![community-panel](../../../_assets/console-icons/circles-concentric.svg) **Communities**.
1. Select the community where you want to update the DataSphere labels.
1. In the top-right corner, click **More** and select **Manage labels** from the drop-down list.
1. Click **Add label**.
1. Enter the key and value, and press **Enter**.
1. Click **Save**.

## Deleting a label {#delete-label}

1. In the top-right corner, click **More** and select **Manage labels** from the drop-down list.
1. Click ![image](../../../_assets/console-icons/xmark.svg) to the right of the label.
1. Click **Save**.
