# Adding a user to a project

You can only add users from the [organization](../../../organization/index.md) you are working with in DataSphere.

1. Select the project in your community or on the DataSphere [home page](https://datasphere.yandex.cloud) in the **Recent projects** tab.

1. Go to the **Members** tab.

1. Click ![image](../../../_assets/console-icons/person-plus.svg) **Add member**. Select one or more users from the list and click **Add**.

   If the user you need is not on the list, click **Copy link** and send them the copied link in any convenient way.

   Once the user accepts the invitation and follows the link, they become a member of the project.

   The link does not expire. We recommend recreating the link from time to time to prevent former users from rejoining the project.
