# Cloud DNS concepts

Yandex Cloud DNS is a service that handles DNS requests and facilitates DNS administration.

With Cloud DNS, you can:

* Create [domain zones](dns-zone.md) in the DNS hierarchy.
* Manage [resource records](resource-record.md) in the created zones.
