With the metadata AI markup on, the AI assistant automatically creates glossaries and terms and uses them to mark up your metadata. You can confirm, edit, or reject the glossaries and terms suggested by your AI assistant by hovering over the **AI** icon next to the suggestion and selecting the action.

You can enable the AI markup when [updating](update-catalog.md) the metadata catalog or on its **Overview** page.
