You can now specify the bucket name and data path when [creating](../operations/metastore/cluster-create.md) or [updating a cluster](../operations/metastore/cluster-update.md). ### April {#apr26} * Implemented [lineage](../operations/data-catalog/analysis-metadata.md) tools for tracing data from a database to a dashboard. * The metadata catalog now supports comparing different versions of schemas and descriptions. * Added the ability to view the current status of a data source in links. For example, you can spot Data Transfer errors and detect data delivery issues faster. ### March {#mar26} Supported a new data source, [DataLens](../../datalens/index.md), which is a business analytics tool for visualizing your data. Now you can [set up ingestions](../operations/data-catalog/create-ingestion.md) from DataLens and [analyze links](../quickstart/data-analyst-quickstart.md) between datasets. ### January {#jan26} You can now configure connections to [Schema Registry](../concepts/schema-registry.md) in the [Apache Kafka®](../../data-transfer/operations/endpoint/source/kafka.md) and [Data Streams](../../data-transfer/operations/endpoint/source/data-streams.md) data source settings in Data Transfer. ## 2025 {#2025} ### December {#dec25} #### New features {#new-features-dec25} [Data Catalog](../concepts/data-catalog.md) users can now enjoy these extra metadata analysis and management features: * Metadata markup management space with bulk editing and statistics. * Data storage for viewing datasets uploaded from multiple sources. #### Fixed issues {#problems-solved-dec5} Fixed an error when using connections to the custom Yandex StoreDoc installation. ### November {#nov25} #### New features {#new-features-nov25} * Added an MCP server for Data Catalog, enabling the use of AI agents to search metadata, view catalogs, get metadata by ID, and retrieve metadata links. * You can now add queries in WebSQL. #### Fixed issues {#problems-solved-nov25} Improved metadata profiling and contextual search. ### October {#oct25} #### New features {#new-features-oct25} * Renamed [Connection Manager](../concepts/connection-manager.md) connections for managed MongoDB database clusters to Yandex StoreDoc connections. * In [Data Catalog](../concepts/data-catalog.md), added new data sources: [WebSQL](../../websql/index.md), [Yandex StoreDoc/MongoDB](../../storedoc/index.md), [OpenSearch](../../managed-opensearch/index.md), and [Greenplum®](../../managed-greenplum/index.md). Data Catalog is at the [Technical preview](../../overview/concepts/launch-stages.md) stage and is available upon request to [support](https://center.yandex.cloud/support). * When creating new [Managed Service for MySQL®](../../managed-mysql/operations/cluster-create.md) and [Managed Service for ClickHouse®](../../managed-clickhouse/operations/cluster-create.md) clusters, connections to [Connection Manager](../concepts/connection-manager.md) are now automatically created. Migration is available for old clusters. * Expanded the list of endpoints in Yandex Data Transfer with support for Connection Manager integration. ### April {#april25} #### New features {#new-features-april25} * Now creating a new [Managed Service for PostgreSQL](../../managed-postgresql/operations/cluster-create.md) cluster automatically creates connections in [Connection Manager](../concepts/connection-manager.md). Users will only see connections they have access to (they have the [`connection-manager.auditor`](../security/connection-manager-roles.md#connection-manager-auditor) role or [`connection-manager.viewer`](../security/connection-manager-roles.md#connection-manager-viewer) role).
