# Deleting an alert

To delete an alert:

1. Open the [service home page](https://monitoring.yandex.cloud).
1. Select **Alerts** in the left pane of the window.
1. To the right of the name of the alert you want to delete, click ![image](../../../_assets/console-icons/ellipsis.svg) and select **Delete**.
1. In the window that opens, click **Continue**.
