# Audit logs and login logs

In Yandex Identity Hub, you can view user login and audit logs. Logs are generated based on [Yandex Audit Trails](../../audit-trails/index.md) events and linked to them via IDs but only include certain event types with a limited amount of data per event.

For convenience, the log view pages have the following filters:

* Time.
* IP address.
* Operation or login type and status.
* User or operation login or ID.

The user’s [role](../security/index.md) in the [organization](organization.md) or [user pool](user-pools.md) determines which [logs](logs.md) they have permissions to view:

* `organization-manager.viewer`, `organization-manager.editor`, `organization-manager.admin`, or `organization-manager.organizations.owner`: Logs of any organization user on the [user page](../operations/user-pools/user-get-logs.md#organization).
* `organization-manager.userpools.admin` or higher: Logs of all pool users on the [pool page](../operations/user-pools/user-get-logs.md#pool).
* Other users: Only their own logs in the [My account](my-account.md) portal.

## Login logs {#auth-logs}

_Login logs_ display authentication events in apps connected to your organization (Yandex Cloud console, [SourceCraft](https://sourcecraft.dev/portal/docs/en)) as well as [external apps](applications.md) with SSO authentication.

## Audit logs {#audit-logs}

_Audit logs_ are generated based on events related to user actions in the organization.

You can [view](../operations/user-pools/user-get-logs.md) the full list of events supported by audit logs on the user page in the **All operations** filter.
