# Troubleshooting adding a phone number for SMS notifications to the billing account



## Issue description {#issue-description}

When trying to add a phone number to your billing account, you get an error.

## Solution {#issue-resolution}

To resolve this issue, [create a support ticket](https://center.yandex.cloud/support). Provide the following information in your ticket:

1. Phone number you are trying to add to the billing account, with the country code in international format, e.g., `+7 (***) ***-**-**`.
1. Screenshot of the error message you get when trying to add a phone number to the billing account.
