Fixed an issue where `JSONB` fields were displayed as an `Object`. ## October {#october-2025} ### Improvements {#improvements-october-2025} 1. Added support for [lazy loading](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazy_loading) of data structure for PostgreSQL and Greenplum® connections. 1. Improved detailed view of column value in JSON format. 1. Added display of value types in MongoDB/Yandex StoreDoc query results. 1. Added display of notifications from the PostgreSQL server when receiving query results. ### Fixed issues {#fixes-october-2025} 1. Fixed an error that caused the display of results with identical columns. 1. Fixed duplication of indexes in editor tooltips for PostgreSQL. ## September {#september-2025} ### New features {#new-features-september-2025} 1. Integrated an [AI assistant](../operations/ai-assistant.md) into WebSQL. You can use it to generate queries to databases, analyze their structure, as well as to fix and optimize queries directly from the editor. 1. Added the ability to use the `ISODate`, `UUID`, and `ObjectId` functions in MongoDB. You can use these functions to work with dates, create unique IDs, and generate primary keys for documents. 1. Added the `authentication_source` parameter that enables selecting a database in the cluster to use for authentication when connecting to MongoDB. ### Improvements {#improvements-september-2025} 1. Removed the error message that appeared on successful connection to a database with a schema export error. This way, you will still be able to query the database. 1. In the [management console](https://console.yandex.cloud), added links to the [Privacy policy](https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/en/) and [Terms of use](https://yandex.com/legal/cloud_termsofuse/en/) sections to the left-hand menu. ### Fixed issues {#fixes-september-2025} 1. The trial feature to run subqueries within a [muli-query](../operations/query-executor.md#multiple-queries) became basic for all WebSQL users. 1. The query editor now stores the last query written to keep the query in the editor in case of service overloads or after a long break. 1. Added the [`websql.auditor`](../security/index.md#websql-auditor), [`websql.executedQueries.auditor`](../security/index.md#websql-executedqueries-auditor), and [`websql.savedQueries.auditor`](../security/index.md#websql-savedqueries-auditor) roles to view query metadata and related access permissions. #### Improvements {#improvements-september-2024} 1. Added the experiment of displaying connections as database users. 1. PostgreSQL tables are now displayed as database objects even if the user does not have access to these tables. 1. Fixed the query editor issue for Safari version 15. ### June {#june-2024} #### New features {#new-features-june-2024} 1. The **Connections** tab now displays the Yandex Cloud managed database clusters from the selected folder available to the user. This speeds up the process of creating connections to these clusters, as most of the cluster information is populated automatically. Also updates were made to the forms for [creating connections](../operations/create-connection.md). 1. [WebSQL](https://yandex.cloud/en/services/websql) is the first service integrated with [Yandex MetaData Hub](../../metadata-hub/index.md). All [connections](../concepts/index.md#connection) are stored in [Connection Manager](../../metadata-hub/concepts/connection-manager.md), but you can also manage ([create](../operations/create-connection.md), [delete](../operations/delete-connection.md), and [edit](../operations/change-connection-settings.md)) them from the WebSQL interface. All changes you make in WebSQL are displayed in Connection Manager and vice versa. 1. You can now publish [saved](../operations/templates.md#publish-query) and [historical queries](../operations/history.md#publish-query). Once published, the query will be available to all folder users. This action cannot be undone — you can only delete the query you published. [Roles](../security/index.md#roles-list) allow you to manage user access to a published query: you can grant permissions for viewing and editing a query or managing its access permissions. 1. The WebSQL interface now allows you to share links to various entities. For example, you can send a link to a connection, saved query you published, or page with access permissions for a published query to your colleague. #### Fixed issues {#fixes-june-2024} Improved user query storage mechanism: queries are now linked to the user's account.
