# SpeechKit Recognition API v3: REST reference

The SpeechKit Speech To Text Service API v3 allows application developers to use speech recognition technologies. <br>The service does not operate with resources. Actions are performed by making RPC calls. For more information about API architecture, see [API Concepts](../../../api-design-guide/index.md).
